STEWART  C  KELL

From the age of 18  Stewart kell found a passion for music. Stewart decided to save his holiday money to buy himself a bass guitar.

 

 As Stewart started practicing with friends and family he found the enthusiasm for the reggae world, being influenced by the music his mother Doris Thompson would play when he was a small boy {Bob Marley,  Nat king Cole, Otis Redding ,Sam Cooke. Dianna ross ,Northen soul and   Blue beat singles } that were laying around his house.

 

The second opportunity Stewart had was to jam with a few band called the Reactors ,BOX ON.and Fire house.

Later Stewart moved to Spain where he eventually added an electric guitar and bass along with his vocals. Stewart started to sing a variety of  covers and original lyricis of songs he had  written  { water fall and crystal clear water } with local musicians who pushed him to become the frontman.

After various years of playing in bars and restaurants he founded a group called Positive where he recored an album named Crystal Clear Water. Then in August  2003 POSITIVE went on to perform at the  UZONA REGGAE FESTIVAL in Vic Catalonia.  along with well known artist like Barrington Levi  and Micheal Rose.

Then emerged  the band Positive tones , playing music with this band created opportunities for Stewart to play at a number of huge festivals such as Uozone Reggae in Barcelona  and 2010 Rototom Reggae sun splash in Benicassim.Valencia.

​

while performing at one of the biggest festivals in Europe Stewart average 60-80 gigs a year.

​

As time went on Stewart decided to move to South America , Uruguay where he played with a band called Biafran Lion.

​

After playing , performing and jamming with a range of bands over the years Stewart formed his last band called Kush which was influenced around having fun with friends and colleagues .

​

Now Stewart has travelled back to the UK, he is now focusing on his own music and original songs and collaborations with UK artists.

​

Right now Stewart is working on a new album under Afua-Record Label.ltd.
